Gifts and Life Story

Facing a life-shattering crisis at 19 years old, I grew determined to find inner freedom and dove into a deep journey of inner healing. I immersed myself in practices for healing trauma, cultivating conscious embodiment, relating compassionately, and building community.  I have courageously transformed the painful imprints from a complexity of severe traumas and health crises into a quality of kind character and depth of presence that people tell me is both an inspiration to witness and a catalyst for their healing journey.  With an enduring commitment to meeting life with an open heart, I have gone directly into the depths of shame, powerlessness, anger, terror and depression to unearth the roots. Embracing adversity as gateways for greater love, I have developed a profound compassion for humanity.

For over 25 years I have worked in the fields of Compassionate Communication, Social Services, Therapeutic Bodywork, Relationship Counseling, Expressive Arts and Group Collaboration.  I have cultivated a depth of embodied awareness that is integral to my work supporting harmony within individuals, couples, and groups. I have an intuitive way of illuminating unresolved trauma beneath people’s pain/conflict, facilitating clear insight, and encouraging compassionate empowerment. I listen to people with loving kindness, see their divinity, and believe in their gifts.

I offer my gifts with devotional love. I am commonly appreciated for embodying the essence of compassion. People say they feel the grace of my empathic heart, find peace in my presence, and that I inspire them in how I live with integrity and move through life from the heart.

Creative Nature

I grew up in the forests of British Columbia, Canada and found solace going out into the woods to be with the tree beings. Artistically, painting and dancing have been second nature to me since early childhood. I started ballet when she was four, and in my early teens I became passionate about modern. Dance has been an essential creative expression for me throughout my life. As a teenager I deisgned and created elaborate clothing, costumes, jewlery, and sculpture pieces.

As a visionary painter I have exhibited my paintings in the US and Canada and have led courses in authentic expression through painting. As a dance performance artist I performed with a dance theatre troupe at theatres and festivals, and acted as artistic director of events. I built my own art studio when I was 25. I enjoy seeing beauty and had a show of my photography of maple leaves.

I am gestating a performance piece and workshop to bring in to high schools titled "Sex. Power. Love." Her intent is to bring compassionate awareness and healing to the cycles of trauma between the sexes, and offer tools for cultivating empathy and harmony in intimate relationships.

Some of my joys... I love lying on the earth in lush forests, the smell of plants after a rain, watching the sunlight through the leaves, the feel of barefeet dancing on a woodfloor, laughter of friends, heartfelt embraces, a baby falling asleep on my chest, creative community gatherings, and deep authentic sharing about the richness of our human experiences in our journey towards realizing our divine nature and a harmonious existence on earth. I savor feeling the spectrum of being joyfully embodied.
